Board Form Wall Panels at Hudson Yards

The grand opening of Hudson Yards on March 15th has introduced 1 million square feet of unparalleled retail and dining space to the new west side neighborhood. Within the shopping area opened The Conservatory, a boutique lifestyle retail experience which includes fashion, home goods, culinary gifts, a gallery of original artwork, and a flower shop. The immersive in store experience of the curated space highlights design, craftsmanship, sustainability, and luxury.

Concreteworks East is excited to have collaborated on the project with the Dallas based luxury brand, fabricating precast board form concrete wall panels featured at the main storefront entrance and at various storefront columns. The panels were cast in our Uptown (white) color on a dark, soft grained wood that added a light red/yellow hue to the concrete, further creating a natural look to the board form fitting to the store’s design aesthetic. The panels were keyed and included integral front edge returns to produce a near seamless, monolithic look while the boards were placed in a vertical orientation to accentuate the scale of the storefront entrance.
