The Hayden lobby

Located at 43-25 Hunter Street in Long Island City, NY, the Hayden is a luxury rental tower sure to attract residents from all over the city. This residential apartment consisting of studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom units stands out due to its wide variety of amenities (over 30,000 square feet to be exact) and amazing views right from your living room. ConcreteWorks East was certainly thrilled for this opportunity to lend a hand installing GFRC wall panels in such a modern and unique addition to the Queens landscape.

ConcreteWorks East was contacted by SPaN Architects and JG Neukomm Architecture, along with the Rockrose Group, a luxury real estate developer in the New York City area, to collaborate on designing a few areas of the building. One of the areas we worked on was a variation of the interior GFRC wall panels for the Hayden’s lobby and reception area. Another was the interior concrete wall panels for some of the amenities, including the fitness center, mailroom, and the 2nd floor coffee bar. Installations were made with the help of Holden & Flynn Universal Contractor. The project took an estimate of six months for ConcreteWorks East to complete.

The Hayden is located in an art centered neighborhood containing New York City’s most popular collection of museums, galleries, and upcoming restaurants sure to keep residents busy throughout the year. Several other noteworthy amenities include a full-size basketball court, media room, a washer and dryer in every unit, and a rooftop area with a lawn.
