Terminal 7 at JFK International Airport has undergone a massive $65 million redesign by British Airways over the past year…
ConcreteWorks East was recently involved in the construction of a beautiful multi-unit project located in Hoboken, New Jersey. Sitting at 339-341 Garden Street & Bloomfield Avenue, this brand new brownstone is sure to turn heads. The project was headed by boutique home builder, Red Bridge Homes and took about one year of intermittent work to complete.
Red Bridge Homes, founded in 2005 by John Heidenry and Pete Slifirski, is a longtime collaborator with ConcreteWorks East and specializes in luxury, high-quality construction in Hoboken. 341 Garden Street is no exception to their superior work. The building, located just a short walk from the PATH and overlooking Church Square Park, is 32-feet wide and larger than your average Hoboken brownstone. You will find high-end features such as quartz countertops in the kitchen, heated bathroom floors, and triple-glazed Unilax windows to ensure a quiet, energy efficient home.
Concreteworks East’s custom architectural precast concrete products are featured throughout the project. Our team fabricated GFRC exterior façade panels that frame the lower elevation of the building as well as around the entry doorway using our Sandy Hook color with an acid wash finish. The building’s lobby features plank style precast panels that were installed with varying offsets to create a 3-dimensional wall full of depth.
In the individual units, CWE provided and installed concrete wall panels for the feature wall in the foyers, along with several distinctive bathroom pieces. This included custom, free-standing concrete tubs as well as custom concrete sinks for the vanity located in the master bath to match in our Uptown color. The concrete sinks have an inner design shaped like a wave that extends across most of the counter to help guide water into the linear drains while eliminating splash back onto the counter.
The finishing touch includes the outdoor concrete kitchen countertop on the roof, as Red Bridge Homes likes to make use of outdoor space.
