Set underground into a subtle incline on the shore of the Long Island Sound, this beachfront custom-built pool house has all the comforts of a world-class luxury resort. Designed by Roger Ferris + Partners for Fiona Garland and Andrew Bentley, the pool house features an almost invisible approach from the main estate entrance, while the coastal elevation features full height glass with uninterrupted views. The minimalist interior is anchored by the large lap pool and adjoining lounge space.
Concreteworks East was excited to collaborate on the project, fabricating custom GFRC precast paver tile for the exterior coastal terrace and the complete pool house interior, including the entryway, kitchenette, and bathroom. Cast in our Flat Iron color with a GO (ground) finish to create variances that uniformly soften, absorb, and reflect the sunlight are naturally occurring and provide depth and dimension to the space. The perimeter of the pool features paver tile with integral front edge returns to serve as a seamless transition into a pool coping. All the precast paver tile was cast at 1″ thick.
