Spiral House Featured in New American Luxury

A featured article in the July / August / September issue of New American Luxury titled, Diverse by Design, provides insight from well known architect, Joeb Moore, of Joeb Moore & Partners Architects LLC. The firm won the 2011 AIA New England First Honor Award for the Spiral House, a single-family residential project in which CWE provided concrete countertops, tub surrounds, and bathroom vanities. Here is an excerpt from the article:

“Every builder thinks they can do modern or contemporary construction, but it’s not true,” he continues. “We work with a high level of tradesmen. There is an indefinable intuition that they bring to the process.” One example is Concreteworks, a company that specializes in architectural concrete for kitchen and bath countertops. “If you think high-end cabinetry is difficult, this is truly a science and an art,” says Moore. More than anything else, it is the firm’s “signature” process that sells Joeb Moore & Partners. “Most of our clients come through referrals. They’ve heard from someone they know who had a good experience working along the edges of conventional design,” Moore says.
